Services

We design, install, and manage gardens and landscapes for both residential and public-facing clients, including nonprofits, educational institutions, and historic sites.

Design

We listen closely to our clients and to the qualities of the landscape. We take our cues from reference points such as a site’s history, architecture, and indigenous materials.

Install

We transform blank slates into new gardens large and small, urban and suburban. We also add to and update long-established gardens.

Manage

A garden is only as good as its upkeep. Most of our clients are on a regular maintenance schedule to ensure maximum success — and pleasure.

Additional Services

Cleanups

Spring, summer, winter, and fall. In the fall, we follow the practice of “leave the leaves” to the extent that it is ideal. In winter, we keep perennials offering architectural interest, insect and wildlife habitat, and food for the birds.

Pruning

Careful and well-timed to bring out the best in your shrubs, topiary, vines, and woody ornamentals. We also prune understory/small trees (< 20’ tall). We care for numerous mature boxwood collections in the region.

Planters & Containers

Seasonal, foraged wild, or however you like them, on a regular basis or for special events. “Subscription” service is available whereby we refresh your pots, planters, and containers quarterly (4x a year).
