Who is Leo?

Leo refers to the conservationist Aldo Leopold, author of A Sand County Almanac. Leo is also the astrological sign at the height of our summer growing season (zone 7a/b). Leo means lion in Latin. Across the world, for thousands of years, lions have been depicted in sculpture at the entryways of gardens to symbolize protection.

Why should I invest in a garden/landscape?

There are too many reasons to list here, which include: to increase your property value, decrease your utility and stormwater bills, improve the environment in myriad ways, promote your own happiness and that of your family and community through the beauty of nature, and inspire children to become stewards of our fragile, desperately threatened planet.

Where do you work?

Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Many of our clients are in historic Chestnut Hill. We have completed projects at the Jersey shore and the Poconos.

Who are your clients?

Leo’s diverse clients include individuals, couples, large families, condo associations, and other groups. We work in the city and suburbs, on row houses to large estates. Leo’s non-residential clients include parks, churches, museums, and educational institutions.
